About Jessie Feliz Travel

¡Hola! I'm Jessie Feliz, Owner & Lead Educator of Jessie Feliz, LLC, and the lead international #blackandbilingual tour guide for Jessie Feliz Travel. After studying abroad in undergrad and later on living three years in the South Caribbean of Costa Rica, I began offering tours for families and small groups in 2017. While the pandemic halted international travel for me and my company for a few years, I am uber excited to get back to providing educational travel experiences for Spanish language learners and teachers for 2023 and beyond!

What makes Jessie Feliz Travel unique is that participants gain authentic, real-world speaking practice by interacting with members of the Spanish-speaking community each day of our trip. Differentiated Spanish lessons are provided every morning after breakfast to prepare us for the day's adventures. While there will be plenty of time for relaxation, rejuvenation and a little partying too, the primary purpose of our travel is to further develop our participants' language skills and increase their cultural awareness of self and others.
